S01 Episode 38 | EXPEDITION 196, PEACE + SUSTAINABILITY VIA TRAVEL

In episode 38, Kestrel chats with 26-year old Cassie de Pecol, who is set to become the youngest person to visit every country in the world. Not only is she expected to break a Guinness World Record by visiting 196 countries - only 15 remain for her - she is also working to promote peace and sustainability along the adventure.

Kestrel and Cassie connect about the purpose behind Expedition 196 - including promoting sustainable tourism, connecting with global youth, planting trees around the world, and sampling microplastics from international waters. The two also discuss sustainable fashion and how the conversation still isn't reaching far enough into the mainstream. Cassie believes millennials and the next generation are ready for it.
